The Carlton Tower Jumeirah is unlike any other hotel in London. It sits in a tower, all concrete, soaring over the north end of the private Cadogan Gardens, which guests have privileged access to. For many years, the main reason to come here was the hotel’s ultimate central location. After all, the hotel sits between Knightsbridge, Sloane Street and King's Road, in quite possibly one of London’s most central neighbourhoods, but after its complete overhaul, the reasons to come here are many. For a start, gone is the Mahogany-heavy decor, and the central pillar that once made for the centerpiece of the lobby. Instead, guests are now welcomed into the building by a striking chandelier made of crystal shards. The hotel's new design is more pared-back, and the renovation also saw the number of rooms reduced to 186, making for more spacious accommodations.
